racists can peddle their ideology. In an Italian soccer stadium, a game turns
ugly when a white player calls his opponent "a black monkey. At one match, some of the Napoli fans are notorious. You
can hear them boo or grunt when the Milan team's black players touch the ball. There are Italian fans who racially
taunt their own team's players. When one team brought in a black substitute,
its fans chanted, "We don't want the Negro.". Since AC Milan forward Kevin-Prince
Boateng walked off the pitch in a friendly match. As these racist and anti-Semitic
chants become tolerated at football grounds, it becomes more tolerated in the
rest of society to say racist and anti-Semitic things," said Simon Kuper, author of football
against the Enemy.
In sum, the author describes the racism in
soccer which is specifically in Italy. In addition, this event was the first
racist event in the green field. I totally agree with this article because it
shows us a bad things in the world which is racism not just in football but in
whole our life. I think in this article is not missing any idea because the
author's ideas or details are clear. In my opinion, we must coexist with each
other, which is the white people and the black people, to make our life better
and without any hatred.
Hi Abdulla, I read your summary and response. They are clear. I haven’t known such a thing in a soccer games, but I agree with your opinion that there is racism everywhere at presentand we have to eliminate the racial discrimination. However, racism has many complex causes through history in my opinion, so it is very difficult to solve this problem. What can we do? What should we do? I think we also have to know in detail to solve it.

Hi.I'm sunny :^) I like your article's subject and summary-response. I've seen many article to deal with racism in sports. Actually, the articles that I've seen deal with players who blame someone using bad words according with race. But, it is first time to read about the fans who do like racists. It is really unfair! I agree with your opinion. The equality of race is important. Fortunately, there are many campaigns to stop racist football.

Indeed, playing soccer in Italy has many problems in their match even their champions is the second or maybe the first one in the world such as Italians teams are a harshness when they play. Also, the fans there are the riot fans. Hi, Abdullh~ I like your summary and response and I agree with your opinion about racism. As we know that discrimination not only has happened in sports but also happened in anywhere in our lives, and we still cannot solve it, but one thing we can do is to understand and show your expect to others and we must believe that love is color blind. I recommend I Have a Dream by Dr.Martin Luther King is a very famous speech mention that blacks have the same right as white in the country.It may give a different view about the equality of race for people.

Why is there this kind of problem? I hope racism at soccer matches will vanish as a soccer player. Now, FIFA is thinking to introduce watch man for racism system into the game. I hope it will be done. I also think racism is a problem not only for sports. I think there is still racism in the world. We are the same human beings, even though our skin color, language, and culture are different.

ReplyDeleteHi~ Abdullah. I completely agree with your opinion. In this country. We have a lot of ethnic people. In my opinion, black deserve people's respect. They are all from the earth, just is not the same race. We should correct view the problem. Although racial discrimination is inevitable, we can minimize this problem. There should be no contradiction between people. We should treat each other friendly. Color of skin, language and cultural differences between people should not be racial discrimination.

Hi Abdullah, your summary and your response are interesting and understandable. I totally agree with you that racism is bad and ugly thing that still some people have. We cannot deny that the average is decreasing comparing before years ago, but racism still exists in somehow.
